「人と帽子」が出会う瞬間により多く立ち会いたい
と思い帽子を製作しています。
人が「帽子」を身につける時、
機能やイメージだけではない何かに
突き動かされることがあります。
それは「人」自体が儚い存在が故に、
何かを身につけたり物をもつことで、
いつかは消えていく自分自身が「確かにそこにいた」
という証をてにできると無意識に感じているのかもしれません。
証になりえる「帽子」に出会えることが
人生においてかけがえのない豊さだと考え、
「人と帽子」が出会い、つながっていく物語を、
ときにファンタジックに、ときにリアリティ
を持って生み出していきます。
TERAI craftment makes hats for providing "wonderful moments",
that people encounter special hats of their very own.
Other than functions or images,
something moves people to wear hats.
The identity of something is
an attempt to prove the reasons of our existence.
Because we are fragile and fleeting,
we would like to make sure our existence unconsciously
by wearing hats or putting on something.
we believe that finding "your own hats" is
one of the most precious and richest thing in your life,
and would like to serve you as a storyteller of you and your hats.
We continue to create fantastic stories between people and hats,
sometimes romantic and sometimes realistic.
Designer 武市 曉
多摩美術大学工芸学科卒業
メーカー勤務を経て、国内アパレルの様々なブランドのOEM･ODM帽子製造に企画営業･職人として関わる。
2014年に日本の製帽技術を活かした帽子ブランド TERAIcraftment を立ち上げ、帽子の企画･製造を行っています。
2018年 キキワークス合同会社設立

which make the best use of Japanese traditional techniques and keep making hats.
